Connect ID Client: Investis Digital Date: June 30, 2019 Services: Visual Design, User Interface design THE BRIEF Freelancing for Investis Digital, I was tasked with designing a website and refreshing their visual identity for their new platform- Connect.ID. The aim of the website was to showcase their newly developed web platform and win new clients. To do this, my design solution aimed to balance a modern and vibrant technological aesthetic with results focused product imagery that would appeal to senior stakeholders. RESULTS FOCUSED PRODUCT IMAGERY To help showcase the different features, I considered what the most engaging points would be to the stakeholder concerned with it and highlighted these in the product imagery. For example, when talking about the content management system- I magnified analytics graphs which I knew where important to many of their data driven clients. I also varied the perspectives of the product imagery, and used white space and angles to guide the reader through the page and encourage them to find out more. Refreshed visual guidelines and flexible design modules Building on a basic brand, I extended the colour palette, typography hierarchy, iconography and image treatment to work across web and reflect the platform's modern technology, speed and usability. I also designed 8 template pages in a modular system, so they could be flexible and easily adapt to a range of future website content. “Harry came to us accepting the challenge of a difficult brief.
